I’m Back!

Hello I’m back’ I know I have not posted in a long time. I sure have missed posting on here.

I really needed to work on myself and get some things right in my life. I will say I’m doing great besides that I have covid right now. My job has been going great and life is good. I say just take life one day at a time.

So alot has happened in sports since I have posted last. The Houston Astors beat the Philadelphia Phillies in 6 games to win their 2nd Championship.

The Georgia Bulldogs beat TCU 65 to 7 to win their 4th Natonal Championship. TCU really had one hell of a season.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Eagles 38 to 35 in the Super Bowl 56. This is the 3rd Super Bowl in team history.

A great year in Sports, I will be writhing about high school basketball in my next post.

9-11-2001 We Will Never Forget

It’s been 21 years since the Terrorist Attack on our America. On September 11 2001 they crashed two planes into the World Trade Centers and into the Pentagon and it would have been more but the hero’s on fight 93 stoped the plane from reaching their target and crashed in Pennsvlvania.

I will never forget that day when I was 9 years old. Over 3000 people died that day. From the people on plane to the people in the buildings and the police and fireman and other people going to help people get out. We will never forget you. Since then over 18 thousand people have got really sick with stuff they picked up from that day.

My prayers still go out to all the Victims and to their family and friends. We love you all.

A great weekend of College Football

Well first thing I have to say is how about them Florida Gators! They take down number 7 Utah 29 to 26!! They ended it with a INT in the end zone to win it. I tell you what Anthony Richardson is one hell of a player. He has got the chance to be the best QB Florida has ever had. That’s really saying something. I really like the fight in this team. They have another big game next Saturday night when Kentucky comes to down.

Let’s talk about some scores from the last few days and tonight. Let’s start with the Tennessee Vols getting a big win over Ball-State 59 to 10. Vols are really going to be a team you have to watch out for this year. Number 2 Ohio State beats Number 5 Notre Dame 21 to 10. This one was alot better than I though it would be.

Arkansas got a big win at home over Cincinnati 31 to 24. The Champs from last year beat the hell out of Oregon 49 to 3.

I’m so glad college football is back. I’m looking forward to next weekend! Everybody have a great week!

Who loves Football

I tell you this time of the year is the best, the start of football season. It starts with high school football, nothing is better than cheering on your on High School team. After high school College starts then the NFL starts.

From a young boy I have always loved football. I love my Westview Chargers! Who won the State Championship last year. Looking forward to see what they do this year. For College football I’m a Gator. I really think the Gators will have a really good year.Im also a die hard UTM Skyhawks fan. In the NFL I’m a Colts fan. I think they can go win it all.

There is nothing like how it feels outside in the fall and watching football. The best time of the year.

Mistakes

We all make mistakes, Big or small. They are all the same.

When you make a mistake. There are only three things you should ever do about it. Admit it, Learn from it, and don’t ever repeat it.

I have made plenty of mistakes in my life. I have learned from all of them and it is hard to overcome some of them but you will. Always remember them and grow from them.

Kansas Wins Final Four

What a year for College Basketball. What a tournament. It was one of the best ones I have seen.

Let’s start with Kansas taking down Villanova 81 to 65. Kansas came to play and got up early and could not miss from 3. With the win they will be in there 10th Championship game.

Duke Vs North Carolina. Does it get any better than this. It was one of the best games I have ever seen. For Duke it would be the end of a era. North Carolina would win it 81 to 77. This will be the 13th time in the Championship game.

North Carolina vs Kansas

Kansas got up 7 early but North Carolina was on fire in the first half and got up by 16 at one time. Kansas woukd come out hot in the Second Half and would take the lead with 15 minutes to go. It was back and fourth. North Carolina had a chance to tie but missed it and Kansas won there 4th Final Four. It would be Bill Selfs 2 time winning it. They had not won it since 2008 when they beat Memphis.

Westview Lady Chargers Win State

For the second time in school history The Westview Lady Chargers win the 2A State Championship over York Institute 47 to 37. It was 1996 the last time they have brought the Gold ball back home.

I can’t tell you how happy I am for these lady Chargers! The hard work they put in everyday and when nobody is looking.

I’m so happy for Brain Haskins, He is a class act. He runs his program the right way. He is the best coach in country in my opinion.

Let’s talk about Suicide and Mental Health

Talking about Suicide is not easy for people. It goes for mental illness as well. I thought I would talk about it after hearing about Katie Meyer from California. She went to school and played for Stanford. She was one of the best College soccer players in the country. She was beloved by all. So we always wonder how could we not have any red flag to know. The bad thing is there are Red Flags but most people don’t realize them.

Suicide is never the answer for no reason. Most people in that mindset feels that there is no outher way. Always check on your family and friends. Ask how they are doing. That can go a long way. It’s stupid to me cause nobody wants to talk about Mental Health. It would get much better if people would just listen and not be scared.

About 5 years ago I was in that mindset that I hated life and did not have any faith to go on. I did get some help and it got better. I took it one day at a time. Life does get better. You just have to look at the good things in life.

I never want to get to that mindaet. I still have good and bad days but it has got so much better. Always check on people and listen and be there for people. Let’s talk about Mental Health more and not be scared. It will save lives. I think Schools should do more to help kids and teach them more about it.

Rams VS Bengals

It’s finally here, Super Bowl 56. The Rams vs the Bengals. The game is being played in LA for the 8th time.

This is the 5th time the Rams have made it to the Super Bowl. They made it back in 2018 but lost to Tom Brady and the Pats. They last won it back 1999 by one yard over the Tennessee Titans. They will try to get their second Super Bowl. Sean mcvay would be the youngest head coach to win the Super Bowl.

This is the 3rd time the Bengals have made it to the Super Bowl. The last time was 1989 when they lost to the 49ers. This would be their first Super Bowl. Zac Taylor will try to win his first Super Bowl. He is only 38.

Who will win? This should be a very good game. I really would love to see the Bengals win. I think the Rams will win 28 to 24. I think the Rams Defence line will make it too hard in the end and win it for the Rams.

Who is going to the SUPER BOWL

Let’s give a recap from last week. The Bengals beat the Titans and Kansas City beat the Bills. The 49ers beat the Packers. The Rams beat Tampa Bay.

Let’s start with the first game. Kansas City vs the Bengals. Kansas City started really well and got up 21 to 3. The Bengals came storming back to tie the game. The Chiefs hit a field goal to send it to over time. The Bengals got a int to set up the field goal to send the Bengals to their 3rd Super Bowl. The first time in over 30 years. They are 0-2 in super bowl games.

The Second game is Rams vs 49ers. This was a game of chances on both sides. Both teams could not get much going. In the end the Rams would win to reach their 5th Super Bowl. It’s their 2nd time to reach it in the last 4 years. They will try to win their 2nd.

I will have a blog about the game Super Bowl week.
